"We bought these bottles to use with our Medela PIS and Ameda Purley Yours Breast Pumps, yes, we bought both. We chose to use these bottles since the Medela 5 oz bottles cost a bit more, and the Ameda bottles are not BPA free. The Lansinoh bottles work great with both brands! The only thing I don't like is that the caps are two piece caps and the Medela Bottles have the solid one piece lids. I just use my 80ml Medela bottle lids with these since we are no longer using them anyway, and they work great and there are no pieces to loose. You can put any standard bottle nipple ring on the bottles so you don't have to change bottles if you don't want too, and you can just throw some nipples and rings already put togehter in a zip bag and throw them in your diaper bag for later. "This breast pump is exactly what i was looking for. i tried one other before this that didnt have enough suction and you could not control it. This pump has an amazing amount of suction that YOU control by lifting your finger off of a valve(when you want it to release), then placing it back on when you want the suction to start again conviently located where you need to hold the bottle anyway. i loved being able to control how much suction i was getting. it made pumping go by very quickly. mine came with a year warranty, and i am now using it for my second child. My first child is now 3 and it still works after all that time. the company also has a website that lets you order individual parts if you want to replace them. you could easily give this away to a family member without having to use any of the same parts that your breastmilk touched. you can just give them the motor and to order a whole new set is $35. would recommend to everyone! "This product does what it says.It's the kit for use with Medela Symphony hospital-grade pump.It includes the tubes and membranes, as well as a set of bottles and shields and the valve assembly.I personally wish that it came with the soft fit shields, but that's just personal preference.Once you have this set, you can buy more bottle and shield assemblies if you don't want to wash them every time you use them or if you just want spares.You only need one set of tubing--the tubing is the only part that is specific to the Symphony pump.The rest of the parts are the same for almost all of Medela's pumps. It is easy & gentle on my nipples and very effective in getting milk quickly which is great for busy moms like me and such a pleasant experience.If there was anything i would change it would be the sound...again all pumps sound this way, but since i am on phone alot for my job it would be great if it were just a bit quieter :) while i am busy multitasking.Again i love this pump and would recommend that all new moms get one. "Love love love Avent's breast pumps! I started with the manual one, just in case I didn't have any milk I didn't want a huge investment. My milk was starting to slack off when I got this one and it made it double. Its sooo much easier and more comfortable. The rubber insert makes it a lot gentler. I love the fact that you can set your own pace. It also comes with a battery pack so you can take it along with you.
Only thing I wish they would have would be a car plug in and I wish you could hook up other bottles to it. The mouth is too wide for other bottles.
Also the manual pump I have hooks right up to the electric top so now I have 2 pumps. At least I don't have to wash it every 2 hours. The electric one comes with the parts to make it a manual as well. Unless you want to develop carpal tunnel, get an electric pump. " – The Doves

“I received this pump for a super discount, so I wanted to say, if you can get it for a steal, its pretty decent. If your going to pay over a $100 as listed on Amazon, I’d consider a Medela instead. I had to rent a hospital grade Lactina breastpump the first 3 months with my baby, so I know the importance of using a strong pump to get your milk supply going. I used this pump when I went back to work months 7-12(baby’s age)using it 3 days a week 2 or 3 times a day and even though I have to put in on the highest dial suction strength, it works great, and its still going strong. I don’t mind that you have to use your finger to regulate the suction flow, I kinda like it, and I can pump double, using my finger for suction , and read a book no problem. Trust me, you pump enough, you figure out how to multitask. Just make sure to use the purple bases to hold the bottles steady in your lap (I usually sit on the floor). I hope this helps someone out there. Pros: Cheap, does the job, very small, easily portable ( I use a kids soft lunch box). Cons: Not super strong suction, have to use strongest dial, has a tiny parts, could lose easily” – J.

“I pump exclusively and bottle feed my son due to latching issues and I’ve been using the pump 8-10 times a day for the last 3 months without a single problem with the mechanics of the machine or it’s ability to express a lot of milk. Of course, the pump cab make a difference in how much milk you produce to a certain extent, but it’s different for everyone woman so be wary of people who claim that certain pumps will solve your low production issues.

-Exchangable flanges if you need different sizes

“There is a reason that hospitals use this pump: it’s simply the best pump out there. When I tried a different, less pricy pump, I developed water blisters on one nipple. OUCH!!
